The Challenges Schools Face
Anxiety, depression, and burnout among students are at record highs.
Why existing support falls short:
Struggling in isolation
Even when students get in the door, the model can feel isolating, reinforcing the idea that they're the only ones struggling while everyone else is thriving.
Information, no application
Pamphlets, emails, and information sessions raise visibility but don't give students practical tools they can apply when stress and comparison hit.
Why Bridge Labs Work
Shared, interactive learning
Students see they're not alone, building connection as they build skills.
Practice, not pamphlets
Instead of passive info, students rehearse stress regulation, adaptability, and healthier striving in real time so they can apply it when it counts.
Our Workshop Solutions

The Adaptability Lab
The Challenge
College students are facing record levels of stress and anxiety. Academic pressure, social isolation, and constant uncertainty make it difficult to stay balanced. Without tools to manage these challenges, students risk burnout, disengagement, and negative impacts on both their wellbeing and their academic performance.
The Solution
The Adaptability Lab teaches students practical strategies to handle stress, adapt to change, and stay steady under pressure. In this workshop, participants learn how to:
-
Adapt to uncertainty and build the mental agility to move through setbacks with confidence
-
Regulate stress and expand capacity to stay focused and effective during high-pressure moments
-
Recover more quickly from challenges so they can maintain energy, balance, and wellbeing throughout the semester
The Outcomes
Lower Dropout Rates
Among 4,000+ U.S. undergrads on academic probation, resilience was the strongest predictor of re-enrollment the following semester (Journal of Educational Psychology, 2022)
Higher Success After Graduation
Young professionals with stronger resilience and self-regulation skills show greater job satisfaction, lower burnout, and higher performance in their early careers (American Psychological Association).
Better Well-Being
Students who complete resilience training report reduced depression, lower stress, and fewer negative emotions (Mary Christie
Institute).
Increased Confidence and Engagement
Students in group resilience workshops report higher self-confidence, stronger study skills, and greater engagement on campus
(Texas Tech).
